15 years ago we all were excited when we published HTML for the first time and it didn't take a long time until all of us were "on the internet". Now we are starting to publish data on the web. Based on semantic web technologies professional data management will be possible in distributed environments generating even more network effects than Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 ever did. Semantic Web Company is very happy to be part of LOD2 project which will shape the Web of Data as infrastructure for many new web applications.
